Amy Schramm, Esq. is a Director at Smythe Masterson & Judd. Prior to joining Smythe, Ms. Schramm practiced both corporate law and litigation at Willkie Farr and Gallagher and, most recently, practiced litigation at O'Melveny & Myers. While at Willkie Farr, in particular, Ms. Schramm actively participated in interviews of numerous law students and lateral attorneys, critiqued the prospects and ultimately recruited those lawyers attractive to the firm. Her expertise as a practicing associate and a member of the recruitment team gives Ms. Schramm an in-depth appreciation and sound insight into lateral search. She is a valuable asset in the serving of our clients' requirements and candidates' ambitions.
Ms. Schramm graduated from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and a member of the Columbia-VLA Journal of Law and the Arts and the Journal of Gender and Law. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, cum laude, from Duke University.
Ms. Schramm resides in New York City. She is an active member of the Duke Alumni Admissions Board and interviews and evaluates prospective Duke applicants. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, golf, cooking and theater.
