The Cluen Corporation
Company Overview
The Cluen Corporation is dedicated to providing complete software solutions to the human capital industry by engaging and anticipating the technological needs of the industry. Cluen is a leading provider of software solutions for human capital management. Since premium service requires a comprehensive understanding of each client’s business, The Cluen Corporation prides itself on anticipating and adapting to each client’s growth needs. Our flagship product, Encore, is a comprehensive software tool that removes the struggle from the recruiting process. Wielding this easy-to-use database, you can take control of your information. No longer will key details slip by in a messy jumble of names, dates and notes. With Encore managing your information, you can finally recruit.
Company History
Since 1985, founders Andrew Shapiro and Jonathan Haber have committed their careers to creating software solutions for the human capital industry. The development of The Cluen Corporation’s flagship product, Encore, is a direct outgrowth of developing custom systems for companies in need of an advanced database tailored to their needs. As anyone knows, developing custom software carries amazingly high costs and leads to problems in development schedules, bug testing and emergency technical support. Typically, the worst consequence of proprietary software development is that your technology will always be at least a few years behind since changes will happen reactively, rather than proactively. From 1990, when the DOS-based Cluen Optimizing Recruiting Environment (CORE) was released, to the year 2000, marked by the release of Encore 4.0, an n-tiered SQL-based database, we have focused on the human capital industry by anticipating the technological needs of our clients.
